Nashville Trip Part 1

This past weekend I attended the SEC basketball tournament in Nashville, TN. For those who do not know, the SEC tourney is for college basketball leading up to March Madness. It was an absolute sea of blue full of Wildcat fans.

My boyfriend and I drove down for a quick road trip to cheer on the CATS. On Friday, our first day, we ate lunch at Rose Pepper which is a cantina and Mexican grill located in East Nashville. I ordered two tacos while my boyfriend ordered the quesadilla. Both entrees were equally as delicious but our favorite part were the chips/salsa and the margaritas.

The next stop on our trip was heading downtown to Broadway which is located right next to Bridgestone Arena. Downtown was where all the action was happening! While downtown we ate at Broadway Brewhouse which is a large restaurant full of TVs. After watching the game we went to Acme Feed & Seed. This location has to be my favorite stop of the night. The decor was rustic and elegant like something straight out of movie or Southern Living.

Day one of our trip was a definite success! Stay tuned for another installment later this week.
